GIFT CARDS are a budget-friendly, easy way to give the gift of admission to the Museum. Plus, they can also be used in the Gift Shop! In denominations of $10, $25, $50, and $75, there is sure to be a card that fits any budget.

Online tickets can be used any day and time that the museum is open (you are not restricted to the date printed on the ticket). Please be ready to print your tickets immediately after purchase. Discounts and passes cannot be accepted for online purchases. Tickets are transferable, and can be shared as gifts for friends and family!

Jump stART

You’re invited to Jump stART your visit to the Museum with a special early morning session in the Art Studio, which includes an exclusive, fun-filled art project and castle painting! Jump stART is staffed by two professional art educators who will facilitate the session providing specialized instruction and guidance. Children of all ages plus a parent/caregiver are welcome. Members $8/Non-members $10
 
King or Queen of the Art Studio Castle

Hear ye, hear ye! Come to the Art Studio to be crowned as king or queen of the castle for a day. Be the first to paint the castle with your name. Make a special crown. Pose in a robe and hold a scepter while your photo is taken for display in the museum.  $15
 
Mess Makers for Toddlers

Spring is here and it's time to get messy with mud! We'll squish and squeeze some mud, make some mud pies, and so much more! Please note: You may wish to bring a change of clothes for your little one, since we do get involved in hands-on messy play in this program! In this series of programs, you and your child will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on, messy play at the Museum. The best part is that we do the clean-up, so you don’t have to! Children 12 to 24 months-old plus a parent/caregiver are welcome.

Lil Movers

Have some fitness fun with your little one in this interactive class! This month we will base our fun fitness activities on the movements of various animals. Learn how to bear walk and crab walk, balance on a beam like a bird on a wire, and more! Children ages 5 and under, with an adult caregiver, are welcome. Admission into the program is $6 for members and $8 for non-members.

This program emphasizes simple but critical messages about early brain development and developmental milestones. Included are stories, songs, rhymes, and one-on-one parent/child playtime with brain-based learning toys and books.   The program is designed to teach parents about the importance of a child's early experiences to the wiring of his or her brain in a fun, informal learning setting where play is emphasized.  Children birth to 18 months old plus a parent/caregiver are welcome.

Laying the Foundation for Literacy

One of Southwest Human Development’s literacy experts will provide parents an overview of brain development and brain anatomy, and introduce parents to important child developmental milestones.  Parents will also learn how to read and with their children at varying ages.  This workshop is designed for children ages birth to five plus a parent/caregiver and includes story time, an art activity, singing and dancing.  Each child will receive a new book to take home.

Lights! Camera! Action! During this week, take the stage and explore your inner star power. Join the CMoP Hall of Famers as we roll out the red carpet and explore what makes each of us unique and talented. Join the Element Explorers as we discover the wonders of water, facts about fire, anything air, and everything earth! Campers will explore concepts of sinking and floating, will discover the properties of air, and will participate in a variety of other elemental activities. Sample Activities: Sink or Float?, Parachutes, Gardening, Fire-Safety Crafts, and more!

Super Hero Adventure

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's .... Superman? Did you know that Superman's birthday is in the summer? To celebrate, we are taking the week to discover the everyday heroes among us. Join us as we create superhero capes, recognize our real-life heroes, and explore our own heroic talents through risk-taking, role-play, and teamwork. Each day, campers will work towards earning a super-hero badge presented on the last day of camp. Sample Activities: Recognizing real-life heroes,  Birthday Surprise for Superman, Comic Book Creation, and more!

Dates: June 29-July 3rd or July 27-31
