GIFT CARDS are a budget-friendly, easy way to give the gift of admission to the Museum. Plus, they can also be used in the Gift Shop! In denominations of $10, $25, $50, and $75, there is sure to be a card that fits any budget.

Online tickets can be used any day and time that the museum is open (you are not restricted to the date printed on the ticket). Please be ready to print your tickets immediately after purchase. Discounts and passes cannot be accepted for online purchases. Tickets are transferable, and can be shared as gifts for friends and family!

Mess Makers for Toddlers

In this series of programs, you and your child will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on, messy play at the Museum. The best part is that we do the clean-up, so you don’t have to! Children 12 to 24 months-old plus a parent/caregiver are welcome. Please note: You may wish to bring a change of clothes for your little one, since we do get involved in hands-on messy play in this program!Admission into the program is $8 per child for members and $10 per child for non-members. Space is limited.
 
King or Queen of the Art Studio Castle
King or Queen of the Art Studio Castle 07/25/2015 To 08/30/2015
Hear ye, hear ye! Come to the Art Studio to be crowned as king or queen of the castle for a day. Be the first to paint the castle with your name. Make a special crown. Pose in a robe and hold a scepter while your photo is taken for display in the museum.  $15

Children birth to 18 months old plus a parent/caregiver are welcome.

August 2nd is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day! What better way to celebrate than by making your very own ice cream sandwich? In this program, you will make your own tasty treat using two cookies and some delicious chocolate or vanilla ice cream. As an added treat, you may roll your ice cream sandwich in some sprinkles or mini chocolate chips and then you may enjoy your carefully-crafted treat! Admission into this program is $4 for members and $5 for non-members for each ice cream sandwich. Space is limited.

You’re invited to Jump stART your visit to the Museum with a special early morning session in the Art Studio, which includes an exclusive, fun-filled art project and castle painting! Building Connections Through Shared Experiences
Building Connections Through Shared Experiences 08/21/2015

One of Southwest Human Development’s literacy experts will give parents/caregivers strategies on how to incorporate interactive talking and learning experiences into everyday life, and discover ways to extend and enrich literacy based activities. Parents/caregivers will also learn the value of early and frequent verbal interactions with their children. Child observation, staying in the moment, and parents’ role in language development will be discussed. This workshop is deigned for children ages birth to five plus a parent/caregiver and includes story time, an art activity, singing and dancing. Each child will receive a new book to take home.

We'll also celebrate by reading to our special furry friend, Sonny, a therapy dog accompanied by his owner and trainer in this special session.
