Online tickets can be used any day and time that the museum is open (you are not restricted to the date printed on the ticket). Please be ready to print your tickets immediately after purchase. Discounts and passes cannot be accepted for online purchases. Tickets are transferable, and can be shared as gifts for friends and family!

Hear ye, hear ye! Come to the Art Studio to be crowned as king or queen of the castle for a day. Be the first to paint the castle with your name. Make a special crown. Pose in a robe and hold a scepter while your photo is taken for display in the museum.  $15

You’re invited to Jump stART your visit to the Museum with a special early morning session in the Art Studio, which includes an exclusive, fun-filled art project and castle painting! Little Rhythms is a fun-filled music class where you can bond with your child as each week you play, sing, dance and giggle together.  Your child will learn and grow through activities that stimulate brain growth, enhance social development, and build motor skills. Through a variety of styles your child will explore melodies, beats and rhythms. This program is geared towards children ages 6 months through 5 years and their parent/caregiver. Admission into this program is $8 for members and $10 fpr non-members. Space is limited
 
Sweet Treats Extravaganza

Make an assortments of treats on Sweetest Day! Each participant will have the opportunity to make an assortment of 4 treats, choosing from pretzel rods, jumbo marshmallows on a stick, or chocolate sandwich cookies. These items may then be dipped in chocolate or vanilla candy coating, and then decorated with an assortment of toppings! Take home containers will be provided as well.

Building Connections Through Shared Experiences 02/19/2016

One of Southwest Human Development’s literacy experts will give parents/caregivers strategies on how to incorporate interactive talking and learning experiences into everyday life, and discover ways to extend and enrich literacy based activities. Parents/caregivers will also learn the value of early and frequent verbal interactions with their children. Child observation, staying in the moment, and parents’ role in language development will be discussed. This workshop is deigned for children ages birth to five plus a parent/caregiver and includes story time, an art activity, singing and dancing. Each child will receive a new book to take home.

Get Ready to Read! Early Literacy Screenings for 3-5 year olds 02/20/2016

Is your child ready for Kindergarten? Get Ready to Read! is an early literacy program designed to help parents ensure that young children are equipped with the fundamental skills necessary for learning to read. The goal of Get Ready to Read! is to screen children between the ages of 3 years, 6 months - 5 years, 11 months, for pre-reading skills before they enter kindergarten and provide skill-strengthening activities to ensure their reading success. Each screening takes about 10 minutes and the kids walk away with pre-reading exercises as well as a free book. The Get Ready to Read! program is a part of the Arizona Literacy and Learning Center, their Web site is: www.azlit.org.

Baby Yoga
Baby Yoga 02/28/2016
Through gentle yoga stretches, touch, music, and singing, caretakers and babies are encouraged to bond with one another to support the emotional well being of baby, as well as, stimulate the nervous system through sensory activities that support touch, and movement. Both baby and parent will participate in repetitive soothing motions of relaxation techniques, constructive play, and experience some yoga poses and practice breathing to embrace and celebrate the developmental milestones in the first year of the baby’s life. Class is designed for children ages 5 months through 15 months and is taught by Anna Blocher-Rubin. Admission into the program is free with paid Museum admission. Space is limited.

Our Beach Bum Block Party is an adults only night that kicks off our three-day SandFest Event! You can expect live music, cash bars, food trucks, giant jenga, giant beer pong, beach volleyball, and a sandpit to top off this sand-sational night! All activities will surround our signature sand sculpture out side in the north lot. Must be 21+ to attend. Tickets are $20 pre-sale or $25 at the door.

Green Ambassadors 06/06/2016 To 07/04/2016
June 6th-10th and July 4th-8th. Come and learn the art of recycling! At the Children's Museum of Phoenix, we celebrate the idea that art can be made from just about anything. Are you familiar with our dazzling CD wall? Have you seen our sculpture made entirely from silverware? At our Green Ambassadors Camp, campers will engage their imaginations as they create art from a number of recycled products. Campers will make recycled paper, decorate flower pots, experiment with bottle cap art, and more! Campers will also gain environmental awareness through a number of earth-friendly activities including the examination of their individual carbon footprints. Green Ambassadors includes ample time for camp participants to play within all three floors of our imaginative exhibits. Other activities include: story time, talent show, and awards ceremony.

June 13th-17th and July 11th-15th. Welcome to the CMoP Time Travelers agency. Campers will grab a ticket and embark upon a trip filled with interesting stops throughout history. Campers will exhibit teamwork, innovation, and resourceful problem-solving as they create self-designed time machines. Campers will visit the dinosaurs, explore ancient Egypt, and make a pit stop in the Wild West; they will also have the opportunity to examine various inventions and devise the innovative ideas that will power the future. Time Travelers Camp also includes ample time for camp participants to play within all three floors of our imaginative exhibits. Other activities include: story time, talent show, and awards ceremony.

June 20th-24th and July 18th-22nd. Calling all authors! Join us as we journey into a world of imagination, creativity, magic, and possibilities. Campers will explore the museum through fairy tales, have the opportunity to create their own stories and dioramas and also utilize critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills, as well as, problem solving and teamwork to help their fairytale friends solve a number of dilemmas. Create a parachute to help Jack escape the giant, construct a raft for the Billy Goats, and more! Little Authors also includes ample time for camp participants to play within all three floors of our imaginative exhibits. Other activities include: story time, talent show, and awards ceremony.
 
Summertime Sleuths 06/27/2016 To 07/25/2016
June 27th-July 1st and July 25th-29th. Who did it? Campers will spend a week with the CMoP Detective Unit learning the science of investigation. Campers will study fingerprints, analyze handwriting, learn the science of chromatography, test observation skills, exercise deductive reasoning, examine mysterious powders and more! Our camp teams will practice teamwork and cooperation as they work together to gather evidence and solve mysteries right here at the Museum! Summertime Sleuths also includes ample time for camp participants to play within all three floors of our imaginative exhibits. Other activities include: story time, talent show, and awards ceremony.
